Breast tissue became softer and soft tissue thickness increased after using BELUNA before inserting the breast implants

On December 13, bio regenerative medicine company CGBIO(CEO Hyun-Seung Yu) announced that the company participated in the 5th Asia Pacific Anti-Aging Conference (APAAC) held at Daegu EXPO between December 2 ~ 4 and introduced BELUNA.

APAAC is a conference for sharing the latest advances in anti-aging medical technology across the fields of dermatology, plastic surgery, hair transplant, dentistry, etc., and over 600 medical professionals and medical appliance manufacturer affiliates from all over the world, including Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Vietnam, Poland, and Sweden attended the conference.

CG Bio participated in this conference as a sponsor and sponsored the lecture on the ‘Clinical Case and Preliminary Study on Breast Implant Augmentation After Using Breast Massager BELUNA’ from Director Jae-hoon Jang of BS The Body Plastic Surgery Clinic at the APAAC luncheon symposium.

Director Jae-hoon Jang introduced the history and mechanism of the breast massager, and shared the 10 clinical cases of using BELUNA prior to inserting breast implants.

Director Jae-hoon Jang stated, “BELUNA is a third-generation breast massager that has improved on the disadvantages such as pain and flares caused by the previous generation products.”

He continued, “We have established a hypothesis that softening up the breast tissue through a massage before breast augmentation surgery using breast implants would reduce the short-term pain when the implants are inserted,” and then stated, “We have conducted the soft tissue stretch test (average increase of 0.25cm for the left and 0.27cm for the right), which evaluates the softness of the breast tissue, and the soft tissue pinch test (average increase of 0.42cm for the left and 0.35cm for the right), which measures the thickness of the soft tissue in the breast, for before and after using BELUNA, and as a result, all indicators showed an increasing trend.”

Director Jang concluded, “Based on such preliminary survey results, breast massagers have been determined as a product that can be helpful in breast implant surgeries and further studies will be conducted in the future.”

Meanwhile, an updated version of the breast massager BELUNA was launched in November. The updated version can switch device operation and mode from both the application and the aspirator, which allows it to be used without space restrictions. It also features a USB-C charging port, making it convenient for consumers.
