Bio regenerative medicine company CGBio (CEO Hyun-seung Yu) has announced that the company has participated in ‘Dubai Derma 2023’ which was held in March 1~3 (local time) at Dubai, UAE on March 8.

Dubai Derma is the largest international skin care society in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and it hosts skin care and laser-related exhibitions with over 110 countries and 500 brands participating that attracts over 20,000 visitors every year. CGBio has participated in this year’s Dubai Derma exhibition and conducted business meetings with 175 partner companies and medical staff overseas.

CGBio is a regenerative medicine company that has secured tissue regeneration and overall technological capability in anti-aging and the company has showcased hyaluronic acid (HA) filler Aileene, calcium (CaHA) filler Facetem, SVF full-auto extraction device CELLUNIT, breast massager BELUNA, wound dressing ‘Regen Cream’ and microneedle patch ‘DERMAREGEN’ at the exhibition.

Especially at this event, CGBio has unveiled its new lifting thread ‘EXOFT,’ secured through the recent acquisition of a lifting thread manufacturing and development company M.BASE, to the world and this drew significant interest from the booth visitors. EXOFT consists of two product lines which feature a patented cog technology consisting of a cog thread made of 360-degree press-cutting polydionanone (PDO) with strong facial lifting stability and a cog thread made of polycaprolactone (PLCL), which offers a natural and long duration thus giving CGBio a competitive edge that stands out from other traditional lifting threads.

Furthermore, the company has successfully concluded a filler retail store agreement worth 1.8 billion won over three years across three Baltic countries during the exhibition period and also finalized the order placement worth 730 million won with a retail store in Brazil.

Also, the Middle Eastern countries with the largest skin care markets such as Saudi Arabia, UAE and Iran along with other various countries from South America, Europe and Asia visited CGBio’s promotion booth to express interest in the cosmetic surgery solutions from CGBio and various business discussions took place on site.

CGBio has also held a lecture sharing the latest knowledge regarding calcium fillers and Facetem, a filler from CGBio, with Professor Aydin Saray, a highly-regarded calcium filler expert from Turkey and Professor Andreea Boca from Romania. The lecture exceeded the maximum capacity with many cosmetic surgery medical workers from the Middle East in attendance and this showed the audience’s expectations towards new cosmetic surgery solutions and products from CGBio.

CGBio is planning to actively target the Middle East to successfully launch its skin care product lines based on their success in this event.
