CGBIO Collaborates with Indonesia’s Top National University to Enhance Global Competitiveness via Local Resources and Talent Development

Signed an industry-academia collaboration agreement with Universitas Indonesia (UI), the No.1 national university in Indonesia, for medical device research and development.

CGBIO (CEO Hyun Seung Yu), a leading company specializing in bio-regenerative medicine, announced on the 24th that it has signed an industry-academia collaboration agreement with the biomedical engineering research institute of Universitas Indonesia (UI), the country’s most prestigious national university. This agreement focuses on conducting cutting-edge research for medical device development while utilizing local resources and talent to build a sustainable medical industry ecosystem and enhance global competitiveness.

CGBIO plans to establish a sustainable cooperation model that integrates the development of medical device raw materials and commercialization by capitalizing on Indonesia’s abundant physical and human resources. Through this initiative, the company aims to contribute to the local economy and the advancement of the medical industry while laying the foundation for strengthening Indonesia’s healthcare infrastructure.

A key component of this partnership is educating local talent. CGBIO, in collaboration with Universitas Indonesia, will offer internship programs and educational courses, providing local students and professionals with opportunities to participate in research and production processes. The company is committed to equipping them with hands-on experience and advanced knowledge in medical device technologies at a global level.
