CGBIO (CEO Yu Hyun-Seung), a leader in bio regenerative medicine, announced on the 5th that it showcased its comprehensive aesthetic solutions at ‘AMWC (Aesthetic & Anti-aging Medicine World Congress) 2024’ held in Monaco from March 27th to 29th.
AMWC, annually held in Monte Carlo, Monaco, is the world’s largest academic conference in the field of plastic surgery and aesthetic clinics, with participation from over 120 countries across Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East. Over 10,000 dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic industry professionals visited to explore the latest products and technologies in the anti-aging field.
At this event, CGBIO operated an independent booth, featuring its key products including ▲PDO suture LUXX ▲EGF Skin Booster ▲PLA Tone Skin Booster ▲Calcium (CaHA) filler Facetem ▲Hyaluronic Acid (HA) filler Aileene. This served to promote the competitiveness of CGBIO’s aesthetic products, seek expansion of export regions, and gauge market response to existing and new products for portfolio expansion.
Notably, ‘LUXX,’ introduced to the global market for the first time, received high praise. LUXX is a suture utilizing PDO (Polydioxanone) material. Thread lifting is a preferred non-invasive aesthetic procedure for its simplicity and minimum scarring.
LUXX boasts of a wide range of product lines with differentiated technology, including Non-Cog type for improved skin elasticity through collagen formation, Cutting Cog type for natural and delicate procedures, and Molding Cog type manufactured by stamping barbs with a molding die for superior tensile strength and fixation. It applies a total of 13 manufacturing patents.
Among LUXX’s product lines, the ‘TM Series,’ a 360-degree twisted Molding Cog type, garnered significant interest. With cogs distributed 360 degrees, it can pull a large amount of skin tissue with uniform force, enabling stronger yet even procedures. Therefore, it enables more powerful and uniform procedures, attracting high interest.
Newly developed products ‘EasyDew EGF Skin Booster’ and ‘PLA Tone Skin Booster’ also received high praise and keen interest from visitors and agents.
EasyDew EGF Skin Booster is a next-generation skin booster that incorporates the growth factor ‘EGF’ into a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler for the first time in the world. It can deliver various efficacies such as overall skin condition improvement, increased collagen production, and anti-inflammatory effects. It is being prepared for launch targeting the global market.
PLA Tone Skin Booster is a particulate skin booster manufactured based on ‘PLA (Poly Lactic Acid),’ a synthetic polymer material that promotes autologous collagen production. Compared to competitors, it has uniform particle size and a perfect spherical shape, reducing the preparation time for hydration in saline before injection. It can be injected with a small needle without clogging, improving convenience for both the practitioner and the patient.
Furthermore, on the last day of the event, March 29th, Industrial Session lectures were held. Dr. Valeria Dal Col from Brazil gave a lecture on the ‘Latest Trends and Techniques of CaHA Biostimulator Using Facetem,’ while Dr. Mark McKelvie from the UK presented on ‘Male Genital Enlargement Using HA Filler.’
Around 100 global medical professionals attended, filling the lecture hall, demonstrating high interest in Facetem and Aileene.
“Through the keen interest in suture LUXX and next-generation skin boosters, we could confirm that our products are excellent in meeting the unmet needs of the market,” said CGBIO CEO Yu Hyun-Seung. “We will continue to secure a leading position in the global aesthetic field through sustained innovation.”
