CGBio (CEO Hyun-seung Yu), a company specializing in bio-regenerative medicine, proudly announced the successful conclusion of their ‘Beyond Aesthetics – Meet the Master in Bali 2023’ seminar on November 7th. Held at the Intercontinental Hotel from November 5th to 6th, the event marked a significant milestone in the world of cosmetic surgery by presenting the first live demonstration of K-Beauty procedures and imparting knowledge on safe and precise techniques.
The ‘Meet the Master’ seminar, previously centered on individual products, has now broadened its horizon to cover the entire cosmetic surgery products. This evolution drew the attention of about 100 esteemed medical professionals from diverse regions, including the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
During the ‘Meet the Master’ event, each presenter delivered theoretical lectures in their respective fields, complemented by ‘Live Demonstrations.’ Participants had the opportunity to observe live demonstrations of procedures including fillers, botox injections, sutures, and liposuction, thereby immersing themselves in the dynamic world of K-Beauty procedures and highlighting the importance of safe and precise treatment methods. Notably, this event in Bali was the first occasion K-Beauty was showcased through live demonstrations.
On the 5th, Dr. SeungHo Han from Ewha Womans University Medical Center graced the stage, serving as both the chair and the main speaker. His lectures delved into the “Essential Anatomy of the Face with Layered Illustrations for Aesthetic Procedures” and “Regional Anatomy of the Face for Aesthetic Procedures.” Following his session, Dr. JaeYoon Jung from OARO Dermatology Clinic delivered a theoretical lecture and a live demonstration on “Facial Contouring Using GISELLELIGNE.” To conclude the day, Dr. DooYeoul Chang from Change Clinic offered insights on “Various Applications of Calcium Fillers: Safe and Effective Methods in the Latest Insights.”
On the 6th, the seminar resumed with Dr. WonSeok Choi from V Plastic Surgery, who acted as both chair and speaker. He covered “Hospital Strategy and Management” and “Combination of Filler and Threadlift: Easy and Effective Techniques Using AILEENE and EXOFT,” complemented by a live demonstration of the integrated procedures. Later, Dr. DooYeoul Chang returned to demonstrate the use of VOLASSOM for skin-boosting procedures. The afternoon sessions were led by Dr. MoonSeop Choi from GRACEONYOUNG Plastic Surgery, who provided an in-depth lecture on “A to Z of Cellunit® and SVF for Skin Rejuvenation” and also showcased a fat grafting procedure demonstration.
In addition to hosting informative seminars, CGBio has been conducting “K-Beauty Days” at its medical aesthetic clinic, “NULOOK,” which was inaugurated in Bali this past March. These events, held monthly, feature esteemed Korean beauty experts who conduct educational programs for the local Indonesian medical community. The curriculum encompasses the latest in Korean beauty trends, advanced techniques, and hospital management strategies, among other topics. Participants gain hands-on experience and acquire in-depth knowledge from the expert advisory panel, enhancing their expertise in cosmetic surgery.
